The Challenge

Our client has multiple hotels across various European locations. Their challenge, in a rapidly growing business, was to better manage Availability and improve on and maximise Hotel Occupancy rates. There was no ‘joined-up’ view across the entire portfolio which made analysis and data insights very difficult.

The Solution

Using our rapid-build Data and ETL frameworks, we deployed a Cloud-based centralised Data Repository collating data from each hotel in an easy-to-analyse fashion.  Google Analytics data was incorporated to provide rich insights into activity on the hotel websites.  A new Central Interactive Portal uses Advanced Analytics to give rich insight and automated decisions in highly visual, easy to use outputs. Customer Segmentation – both Behavioural and Value-driven was also implemented

The Result

The client has a centralised data repository in the Cloud, providing a fully joined-up view of the business including a single customer view. Customer Segmentation allows for personalised cross-sell and upsell opportunities, while the new Analytics Portal provides rich business insights  (e.g. immediate highlighting of availability vs. booking-enquiry issues, correlation of booking patterns with external data, etc.)
