As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of complex Data, Analytics, AI, and digital transformation programmes for our clients. You will work closely with executive stakeholders, technical delivery teams, consultants, and client leadership to ensure projects are delivered successfully, generating tangible business value.
You will play a critical role in shaping project governance, managing commercial performance, mitigating delivery risks, and fostering strong client relationships. This position requires a proactive leader who can navigate ambiguity, drive accountability, and manage multiple concurrent projects within a fast-paced consulting environment.
Serving clients across a range of industries, you will have the opportunity to lead high-impact transformation initiatives while contributing to the continued growth and maturity of Clear Strategy's project delivery capability.
• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple concurrent Data, Analytics, AI, and technology transformation projects.
• Establish and manage project governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with client objectives and organisational priorities.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource plans, RAID logs, and status reporting.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, building trusted relationships at senior and executive levels.
• Facilitate steering committees, programme governance meetings, workshops, and executive stakeholder updates.
• Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Drive effective collaboration between technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
• Lead resource planning and capacity management across project teams, ensuring optimal utilisation and delivery performance.
• Monitor project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, and commercial performance.
• Ensure delivery quality through robust project controls, governance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support business development activities, including project scoping, proposal development, estimation, and pre-sales engagements.
• Mentor and coach junior project managers and delivery team members.
• Contribute to the evolution of Clear Strategy's project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
• 7+ years of project management experience, with a proven track record delivering complex technology, data, analytics, or AI projects.
• Experience leading projects within consulting, professional services, technology, or digital transformation environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project budgets, forecasts, profitability, and contractual obligations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging and influencing senior executives and C-suite stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Advanced experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Project, and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
• Experience managing technology delivery teams, including data engineers, analytics consultants, software developers, cloud engineers, and solution architects.
• Proven ability to identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and organisational change impacts.
• Experience working within cloud-based technology environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Data & Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and modern data platform initiatives is highly desirable.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Project Management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, AgilePM, Scrum Master, or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Additional certifications in Agile delivery, cloud technologies, or data platforms are advantageous.
