We are looking for a dynamic, proven Senior Data Manager with at least 10 years of experience in data leadership roles, to join our Management team. This is a high-impact, front-facing, leadership role responsible for delivering complex, large-scale, data projects for our clients and managing the Clear Strategy team assigned to those projects.
Consulting experience is essential for this role, ideally with prior exposure to the Irish market. You will be the trusted advisor to the client, ensuring delivery excellence, client satisfaction and long-term partnership. You will also lead, inspire and grow the internal team, taking full ownership of project oversight, resourcing, team culture and performance outcomes.
Essential Criteria
• 10+ years in data management, with 5+ years at a senior leadership level
• Led cross-functional data teams, across engineering, analytics, or governance
• Owned delivery of enterprise data platforms, pipelines, or complex data solutions
• Proven track record of stakeholder management at C-level or director level
• Deep knowledge of modern data architectures (e.g. cloud data platforms, data lakes . . .)
• Comfortable leading in fast-paced environments
• Strong grasp of data governance, quality, privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR, DQ frameworks)
• Experience managing budgets, vendor contracts, or project portfolios
• Able to context-switch rapidly, deliver under pressure, and prioritise without supervision
• This is a Dublin-based Hybrid role

Client Engagement & Delivery Leadership
• Lead the strategy and execution of large-scale data initiatives
• Serve as the senior Clear Strategy lead and the main escalation point on key client projects.
• Own overall client relationships, ensuring delivery excellence across scope, budget, risks, and timelines (with or without a project manager).
• Provide strategic oversight to ensure alignment with client goals and proactively manage issues or dissatisfaction.
• Manage and mentor senior technical talent
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality data products
• Bridge technical and business needs with clarity
• Drive data maturity, compliance, and stakeholder alignment
Project & Resource Management
• Own resource planning and team allocation, maintaining a forward-looking view
• Oversee project delivery directly or in collaboration with a Project Manager.
• Manage project commercials, including forecasting, billing inputs, and scope control.
• Ensure timely logging of hours and optimal team utilisation.
Team Leadership & People Management
• Foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture where people feel valued.
• Set clear objectives, conduct performance reviews, and support career development.
• Act early on team challenges or individual concerns through strong mentoring and engagement.
Internal Communication & Governance
• Provide regular updates to the Leadership Team on delivery, client health, and team dynamics.
• Ensure clear communication across project teams and stakeholders, escalating risks early.
• Maintain strong governance and visibility on key developments.
Strategic Growth & Account Expansion
• Drive growth within existing accounts through a ‘land and expand’ mindset.
• Contribute to strategic planning, service refinement, and operational improvement.
• Bring a long-term, value-driven perspective to account development.
• 10+ years’ experience in a consulting, delivery, or client-facing leadership role
• Proven track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects to successful outcomes
• Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of project resourcing, billing, and profitability
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust and manage escalation effectively
• Experience leading, mentoring, and motivating high-performing teams
• A forward-thinking, strategic mindset with the ability to balance big-picture goals and day-to-day detail
• Exceptional communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in the data, analytics, AI or technology sector highly desirable
